climate chief's tears

Costa Rica-born Christiana Figueres has been the Executive Secretary of the United Nations  Convention on Climate Change or the last three years. The head of the UN body tasked with delivering a global climate treaty broke down in tears at a meeting in London as she spoke about the impact of global warming for the coming generations.

Many people believe that what we are doing to the environment is completely unfair and immoral for future generations and our children. The children will have to deal with terrible consequences of our attitude to the environment.
